Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
