Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And tall date-palms with their spathes pile on pile 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
