Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We send down water as a blessing from the sky, and grow gardens with it and the grain for harvest, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered spathes; 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
