Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know all what the earth decreases from them; and with Us is a Book that retains. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan,] and the people of Tubba: they all gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon that whereof I had warned [them] came true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
