Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaf. [These letters (Qaf, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Glorious Quran. 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
