Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
