We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' 23 'Cast, you twain, into Gehenna every froward unbeliever, 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
