And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 Each soul will come with a driver and a witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants. 29
