Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement. 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
