And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When the two receiving angels receive from him, one seated on the right and one on the left. 17 not even a word can he utter but there is a watcher with him, ever-present. 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!" 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29
