And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony). 23 (And it will be said): "Both of you throw (Order from Allah to the two angels) into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messengers, etc.). 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29
