And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 (And it will be said): "Both of you throw (Order from Allah to the two angels) into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messengers, etc.). 24 "Every obstructor of good, transgressor, and the sceptic, 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29
