And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. 17 He does not utter a single word, without a ready recorder seated next to him. 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this, but now We have removed your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony). 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' 29
