Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed, 5 and surely the Doom is about to fall! 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 and perverted therefrom are some. 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 who flounder in the depths of ignorance. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They slept very little during the night 17 And used to seek forgiveness before dawn. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 On the earth are signs for those of assured Faith, 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised. 22 for, by the Sustainer of heaven and earth, this [life after death] is the very truth - as true as that you are endowed with speech! 23
