Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 Verily the promise made to you is true: 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 surely you are deeply at variance [as to what to believe] -- 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 [It will be] a Day when they will be sorely tried by the fire, 13 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. 14 Surely the God-fearing will find themselves in the midst of gardens and springs. 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 and would pray for forgiveness from their innermost hearts; 18 and [would assign] in all that they possessed a due share unto such as might ask [for help] and such as might suffer privation. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 for, by the Sustainer of heaven and earth, this [life after death] is the very truth - as true as that you are endowed with speech! 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
