Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 and the smooth runners 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 and the Day of Judgment will inevitably take place. 6 The heavens webbed-with-tracks is witness 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good; 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23
