Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the wind that scatters far and wide, 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 They ask: “When will the Day of Judgement be?” 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 Lo! those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings, 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 Little of the night they were wont to slumber. 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23
