Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the swift scatterers 1 and the burden-bearers 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And the angels who distribute the affair. 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 and the Day of Judgment will inevitably take place. 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire, 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 16 They slept little in the night, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking). 19 On the earth are signs for those of assured Faith, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 for, by the Sustainer of heaven and earth, this [life after death] is the very truth - as true as that you are endowed with speech! 23

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
