Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the swift scatterers 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 From which only he turns who is turned away. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 Accepting the rewards given by their Lord; they were indeed virtuous before this. 16 Little of the night would they slumber, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 and in your selves; what, do you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, it is the truth, even as (it is true) that ye speak. 23
