Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those that winnow with a winnowing 1 by the clouds which are heavily loaded with water, 2 Then those (ships) that glide easily, 3 And the angels who distribute the affair. 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven containing pathways, 7 Verily, [O men,] you are deeply at variance as to what to believe: 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good). 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 This, by the Lord of the heavens and the earth is as certain as your ability to speak. 23

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
