With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
