We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
