And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
