And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
