We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
