AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
