▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
