And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
