And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
