▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
