AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
