With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). 60
