And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
