We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
