With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
