With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
