So exhort (them, O Prophet), for by your Lord's Grace, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Do they say: "He is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune?" 30 Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" 31 Or do their intellects bid them do this? Or are they an insolent people? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Quran) if they are truthful. 34 Were they created out of nothing, or are they their own creators? 35 Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No; the truth is that they lack sure faith. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Or do they have a ladder whereon they can climb and attempt to listen (to what is transpiring in the Higher Realm)? Then, let any of them who has listened to it produce a clear proof of it. 38 What! The daughters for Him, and the sons for you? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say: 'A massed cloud' 44 So leave them alone until they face the day when they will be struck dead from terror 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 Truly, for those who do wrong there is a punishment besides that, though most of them do not know it. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 Extol His glory at night, and at the setting of the stars. 49
