Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: “He is a poet for whom we await an adverse turn of fortune.” 30 say [to them], "Wait then: I too am waiting along with you!" -- 31 Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? 32 Or do they say, 'He has invented it?' Nay, but they do not believe. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 [Or do they deny the existence of God?] Have they themselves been created without anything [that might have caused their creation]? or were they, perchance, their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 Hath He daughters and ye sons? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? 41 Seek they to lay a plot? Then those who disbelieve it is they who shall be plotted against. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 And if they should see a fragment of the heaven falling down, they would say: it is only clouds piled up. 44 Then leave them, till they encounter their day wherein they shall be thunderstruck, 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
