Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. 31 is it their minds that prompt them [to say] this, or are they merely insolent people? 32 Or do they say, "He has invented it himself"? Indeed, they are not willing to believe. 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 Have they not been created from some source, or are they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. 36 Or have they the treasures of your Lord with them? Or have they been set in absolute authority? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or, [if you believe in God, how can you believe that] He has [chosen to have] daughters, whereas you yourselves would have [only] sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Is theirs a god beside Allah? Hallowed be Allah from that which they associate! 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Then leave them, till they encounter their day wherein they shall be thunderstruck, 45 The Day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them. 46 Surely a chastisement awaits the wrong-doers even before the coming of that Day; but most of them do not know. 47 And be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord; surely thou art before Our eyes. And proclaim the praise of thy Lord when thou arisest, 48 Extol His glory at night, and at the setting of the stars. 49
