۞ And many soever are angels in the heavens whose intercession shall not avail at all save after Allah hath given leave for whomsoever He listeth and pleaseth. 26 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter give angels the names of females, 27 And they have no knowledge thereof; they follow but a vain opinion, and verily a vain opinion attaineth not aught of the truth. 28 Therefore turn aside from him who turns his back upon Our reminder and does not desire anything but this world's life. 29 That is their attainment of knowledge. Surely thy Lord knows very well those who have gone astray from His way, and He knows very well those who are guided. 30 To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, that He may requite those who do evil, in accordance with their deeds, and those who do good with good. 31 As for those who avoid the greater sins and shameful acts, except minor trespasses, your Lord's forgiveness surely has great amplitude. He is fully knowledgeable of you as He produced you from the earth, and since you were a foetus in your mother's womb. So do not assert your goodness; he is better who takes heed and preserves himself. 32
