Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
