(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 while you make merry? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
