Seest thou one who turns back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 He plunged the villages 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
