Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
