Prostration
< random >
Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
