(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
