Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 from a discharged living germ 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 Thamud, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
