Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 He plunged the villages 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
