Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 And you are lost in play! 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
