Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
